It’s the time to get relaxed or go travelling.

It is celebrated in memory of the day when the People’s Republic of china was founded.

People have different activities such as a huge public firework display and sometimes even parades and gatherings to celebrate the day.

Happy New Year!

It’s the most important holiday for the Chinese people and usually lasts for 15 days. . It is usually the biggest family gathering so everyone is supposed to go home to join the celebration.

There are many traditional activities to celebrate the festivals such as to do a thorough cleaning ,to paste handwritten couplets and to conduct lion dance.

People always prepare a variety of delicious foods such as dumplings to treat the family ,friends and relatives and play firework on the eve all night long.

It’s one of the oldest holidays known to people and gets involved with religion.

It is a mixture of Celtic, Roman and Catholic customs and holidays.

It’s celebrated by western cultures every year and has become a special occasion for young people. It falls on 31,October and on the night people go from door to door wearing spooky costumes and saying “Trick or treat”.
