Award was presented by Prof. Sean Rigby, Professor of Chemical Engineering - University of Nottingham & Director – Geo-Energy Research Centre (United Kingdom).

Dr. Vinoth Kumar Raja, Assistant Professor from the Department of Chemical Engineering, has received “Bharat Ratna Kamaraj Memorial Young Scientist Award with Citation” for his outstanding contributions to the field of Energy and Environment by the Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology during an International Conference on Sustainable Development in Energy and Environment (ICSDEE) held from 18 - 20 July, 2019 at Madurai (Tamil Nadu). The award includes cash prize of ₹5000, travel allowance of ₹15000, certificate, and a plaque.
