Cocoa - In Europe, since August 2013, we only buy UTZ

Certified cocoa.

Palm Oil - From 1st September 2014, all the palm oil and

palm oil derivatives present in our products is sustainably

sourced.

‘Our Products (eg Packaging and Co-Packers)’ – We conduct

third party audits against our own Code of Conduct and

work with suppliers to help them improve. We do not

duplicate audits.

Tea – 75% of our tea comes from gardens that are certified

by the main internationally recognized certification

standards (ie, Rainforest Alliance, UTZ and Fairtrade). We

work with the ETP to improve standards in the rest of the

industry.

If there is no progress after an agreed period of time then

we will suspend the business relationship.

Certification and Audits

• Health & Safety,

• Working Hours Directives,

• HR practices &

• Employers obligations to agency and migrant labourers

• Our Thai H&S team have also visited sites to assist suppliers with their H&S implementation

• Supported suppliers in China to implement LEAN processes in their factories,

• Training manuals to assist suppliers with their own improvements (such as a H&S toolkit in 5 languages, including Thai),

Promoting Improvements in Working Conditions
