Repair directly
measure all basic voltages including ATXVcore 3VDUAL5VSBVCC3VCC5VCC_DDR, etc
The ATX_PSON# is inactive, and then check the other steps as below: 1.Check whether COMS jumper is setting normal state(pin1-pin2) 2. Check whether ATX pin9 voltage value is about 5V.If ATX pin9 is less than 5V,you need to check VCC5_SB circuit 3. Check whether Y4 frequence value is about 32.768KHZ 4. Check whether Battery voltage value is 3V 5.Remove switching power supply ,clear CMOS ,reinsert swithching power supply ,and then power on 6. Check power on sequence

A. The CPU Fan isnt running:.check CPU-fans+12V,sense and GND pin B.The CPU Fan runs,but stop immediately,and then system power turn off at the some time Check whether the Vcore,+12V,GND is short: check the EL-CAP burning;re-insert CPU and FAN for thermal protection; check whether HTREF1 voltage value is about 1.2V with power on 3.The Fans runs abnormall and makes loud noise: CheckSYS-FAN1,SIO_SYS1_FAN,CPU-FAN,CPU_FANPWM,EC34,EC79
Insert CPU,Memory, HDD,Graphic card and FDD and then press power buttion. Note: For protecting CPU,measureVcore,VCC_DDR,VTT_DDR and VCC1_2 before insert CPU

check whether CPU is active:
1.Vcore:
The abnormal CPU Vcore voltage value : check CPU,U9, VID;low Vcore voltage value
,check whether MOS fail;high Vcore voltage value,check whether FB is active;
the Vcore voltage value is 0V,check whether the 4Pins power connector touch well;check whether High
and Low MOS fail,check whether MOSVRM and IC traces fail( check components when the ICs fail);check whether VIDand CPU traces fail.
Power issues include the some situation
1.1 burned MOS:
(1) MOS component fail
(2) MOS Gate Resister dont solder
(3) MOS heatsinks dont mount a good site so burned at F/T test and ORT test
(4) Driver IC fail
(5) Damaged PWM chip
(6) Human factors of production line
eg. The testing boards has some small solder wire
1.2 burned driver chip:
Whether it is active;check whether PCB traces open;
The second ,check whether voltage value of Clock Gen;check whether basefrequency
value are about 14.318Mhz and check whether Clock Gen is running and the Clock Gen
sends all clocks are right.;check Resisters and Caps of all clocks;check whether PCB is
open or short;
debug card show F The F stands for no reset so that check CPU,NB,SB ,IC and MOS power;touch IC interface
whether its interface is very hot at standby or power on,the detail imformation as below:
First of all,check all power voltage value that includes +3V,+5V,+12V,-12V and Vcore ,and so on;check NB_PWRGD;check VRM_GD

The MB will protect when the MOS are burned for AMD platform MB.If you power on at no
changing burned MOS,CPU will be damaged
(3)Human factors of produnctaion line
2.Reset signal
A_RST#:check whether A_RST# voltage value(R270)is from High to Low.If the A_RST#
isnt from High to Low,remove R270 to make sure of SB issue or NB issue.
LDT_RST# measure whether LDT_RST# (Q43.E)is running.If LDT_RST# signal dont run,check PWR_GOOD(VRM_GD),NB_PWRGD,SB_PWRGD,and so on. RSMRST#: check whether RSMRST# voltage value is 3.3V at S5 .The RSMRST# is charge of reseting sleep sequence.The RSMRST# level is still low so the MB doesnt operater well.At this state ,you can cut the trace for find the problem out. 3. Check CPU MEM_MA_ADD[15..0],MEM_MB_ADD[15..0],MEM_MA_DATA[63..0], MEM_MB_DATA[63..0],and so on.Check whether their traces are open or short;The Debug card shows the code,but hangs up . Clear CMOS or update BIOS.eg.The code is from C1 to C3 which stands Memory may fail Press chipset using check memory slot check VCC_DDR,VTT_DDR and VCC3 voltage value check whether VDDR_VREF voltage value is 0.9V check clock enable signals,the signal locations as below: DIMM Pin 52/171
CKE_1/0 .Check whether CPU slot is ok.
check memory clock signals ,the signal locations as below: Pin 185,Pin186,Pin137,Pin138,Pin220,Pin221
check SCL0 and SDA0 signals,the signal locations as below: Pin 119,Pin120 .Through measuring diode value make sure of MB

I. Show wrong the BIOS verion,and so on .You need to flash BIOS software2.Show wrong CPU frequence value ,for the reason, CLK Gen issue or CMOS
setting
3.Show wrong memory information ,and then check memory ,DIMM slot,VCC_DDR,CLK and NB
4. Show no HDD or wrong Capacity HDD issue:check HDD POWER,SATA cable ,IDE interface.Clear CMOS ,and then Check CMOS setting and SB
5. SATA: Clear CMOS ,check CMOS Setup setting , capacitors of differential signal, SB ;
