Calling all Jr. Highers!August 14 - Bananarama!!! All Junior High studentsare welcome to attend this event to welcome and getto know our new 6th graders! We will meet in theEast Hall from 7-8:30 p.m. and play various banana-themed games. Bring bananas to share and clothesyou dont mind getting a little messy.

Pantry RestockingOur summer months have depletedour pantry. In your weekly shopping,please consider helping us replenishour shelves with the following items:
Peanut buer, canned meat,vegetables and beans, pop-top soup, individual servings of applesauce/fruit, powdered milk, cereal, juice boxes, granola bars, andsmall packages of crackers.
These can be dropped by the Church office or the NarthexPANTRY BOX throughout the month of August.

(supplies andinstructions will be provided), put together a puzzle, play agame, lounge by the pool, take a nap, purchase a spatreatment...or do a little bit of everything. Women areasked to bring a snack or favorite food to share.
Cost (we have reserved villas, each with a common roomand private patio):Room with one King bed, private bath ($150 one person
or $75/person double occupancy)
Room with two double beds, private bath ($100 perperson, double occupancy)
Fold-out queen-size couch in common area ($80)Day-only and single-night options available.
All prices include two nights, light breakfast and projectsupplies.
We have late check out on Sunday (2 p.m.) so feel free togo to Church and then return to the resort for a few hours.

All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of
Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with
our Savior, you are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take
the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Someprefer to take it while it is in front of them before passing it along.
Offering
In all of our services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an
act of worship and voluntary.
