ANNIVERSARIES
Aug 17th – FRIENDS OF LOIS will be
celebrating their 1st Anniversary. Fellowship
at 10:30am, speaker at 11:00am. Brunch
items welcome.
Sept. 17th – NORTH HILLS AFG will celebrate
their 54th Anniversary. Food and fellowship
at 6:30pm and speaker at 7:30pm. Covered
dishes welcome.
Sept. 20th – JEANNETTE DOWNTOWN AFG
will celebrate their 36th Anniversary. Food
and fellowship at 7:00pm and speakers at
8:00pm. Covered dishes welcome.
Sept. 23rd – PARK PLACE REGENT
SQUARE will celebrate their 23rd
Anniversary. Food and fellowship at 7:00pm
with meeting at 7:30pm. Main course
provided; other foods welcome.
Sept. 23rd – KENMAWR PATHS TO
SERENITY will celebrate their 15th
Anniversary. Food and fellowship at 6:30pm
followed by speakers at 7:30pm. Salads or
desserts are welcome.
Sept. 23rd – MOUNT CHESTNUT FREEDOM
will celebrate their 31st Anniversary with finer
foods and fellowship at 7:00pm; Al-Anon and
AA speakers at 8:00pm. Finger foods
welcome. The anniversary will be held in the
basement of the church. See meeting list for
church address. Please join us!
Oct, 1st – FOX CHAPEL TUESDAY NIGHT
AFG is celebrating its 34th Anniversary,
starting at 7:30pm. Speaker to be announced
and refreshments to follow meeting.
MEETING CHANGES

NIGHT will meet outside at the back of the
church where we usually park, weather
permitting.
Aug 24th – FRIENDS OF LOIS will not meet
due to the Al-Anon Family Picnic. Please
come join us there!
Sept. 2nd – AL-ANON IN ACTION will not
meet on Labor Day.

KEY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Announcements 1. Announcements pertaining to new, disbanded and
permanent meeting time or location changes WILL NOT be placed in The Key unless they are properly processed
using a WSO Al-Anon Registration- Group Change Form
(GR-1). Group Changes require a GR-1 Form signed by
the District Representative. The District Representative will forward the form to: AIS & STATE, AIS will
forward to: KEY EDITOR, MEETING LIST CHAIR and
SECRETARY, STATE will forward to WSO. 2. The Key will be mailed to the name on file at the local AIS Office. Any changes must be submitted to the AIS
Office using the "ISR Change Form". This form can be
mailed to the AIS Office or SCANNED & EMAILED to:

AIS will forward to KEY EDITOR and SECRETARY. 3. Announcements pertaining to Al-Ateen must be
accompanied by the Group ID. 4. Submit items by the 10th of the month
for the next month’s issue of The Key. 5. Send written notice to: pittkeyeditor@gmail.com or the AIS Office.

It is certainly important in Step Eight to
not avoid putting someone on the list
simply because it would be embarrassing
or painful. But it is equally important to
remember Step One, in which we admitted
our powerlessness, so that we don’t
assume we have superhuman power to hurt
others, just as we once believed we could
