What was the worst thing that happened on your trip? Why do you consider it the worst thing? Did any good come from it?

What would you change about your vacation? What would you do differently?

If you could plan any trip to any place in the world, where would you go and what would you see? Describe your dream trip in detail.

About the Author

My name is Amy. I am a wife to a military man, and a homeschooling mom with six beautiful children ages 14, 12, 9, 7, 4 and 4. We currently live in southern California, where we enjoy playing on the beach and at Legoland, CA. I love to write, sing, hike and read great books. I also love to teach — which turns out to be a very good thing!

I grew up in Southern Indiana, the daughter of a preacher and a teacher. I had four siblings and we lived on 2.5 acres next to a woods. I attended public school and was heavily involved in choir and drama. After high school, I attended Kentucky Christian College (now University) where I met my hus-band through his sister. We were married in 1993. God eventually blessed us with children, but for five long years we weren’t able to have children and during that time I started hearing about homeschool-ing through the Focus on the Family radio program. I would listen during my lunch hour at work and come home to tell my husband all about it. It wasn’t until our first child was two years old that he heard Focus on the Family during his drive home from work and decided we should homeschool our precious daughter.
