PonoEndorsementProgram:ThePonoEndorsementProgramwasdevelopedinpartnershipwithPlantPono,aprogramofCoordinatingGroupofAlienPestSpecies.ThePonoEndorsementProgramisavoluntarypartnershipbetweenanynurseryorlandscapingbusiness,PlantPono,andKISC.PonoEndorsedbusinessesarethosewhopracticeandpromotemaking“pono”plantdecisionsthatwillbenefitthehealthandwellbeingofKauai.ThisprogramseekstoaddressinvasivespeciesdirectlylinkedtothenurseryandlandscapingtradebyencouragingbusinessestoadoptBMPsandvoluntarilyremovetargethigh-riskplantsfromnurserystock.TotalnumberofEndorsedBusinesses(NurseryandLandscaping):17;PromotionalAdvertisements:1,601radiocommercialsspots
