- PERSONALITY TRAITS! Henry VIII is Intelligent Picky- Charming
Ladies-Man Selfish
- Slide 4
- CHARACTER TRAIT! Henry VIII is a static character. In Henrys
lifetime he doesnt change much at all. He still used the same war
strategy for a while, wore the same type of clothing his entire
lifetime, and his taste in woman. Invading, attacking, and killing.
Big, bulky and rug like pattern. Finally, has to be beautiful,
smart, and produce a son.

- CONFLICT! Henry VIIIs conflict would be person vs. self. Henry
has had 6 wives, and every wife he has been with he has always
wanted a son. So the main reason he was marrying and
divorcing/executing so many women was because he has wanted a son
and only a son. Henry has been in a way challenging himself, he has
wanted a son for so long so he goes through so much just for one
child that is a boy.

- ANTAGONIST! Like any other king, Henry has enemies. Henry didnt
have MANY enemies, but everyone has enemies. One of his enemies
would be Thomas Wolsey, English political figure and cardinal of
the Roman Catholic Church. The reason they were enemies was because
Thomas was Henrys almoner, and betrayed him in the attack from
France. And of course Henrys two ex-wives that had survived,
Catherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleves

- The Siege of Boulogne There were two sieges of Boulogne, in the
Pas-de-Calais, during the Italian War of 15421546. Boulogne was
fortified and defended as an English possession on the French
mainland between 14 September 1544 and March 1550. The Siege of
Boulogne took place from 19 July to 18 September 1544, during King
Henry VIII of England's third invasion of France. Henry was
motivated by French aid to England's Scottish enemies. In 1543 he
allied with Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, (also King of Spain),
whose Catholic allegiances were, for a time, overruled by the
political advantages of an alliance against France.
