78% of the stress in an individual's life is come from the employment place or professional life in which 85% feel stress due to the disagreement between time and task assigned.

11.5% stress is due to the domestic issues.3.5% stress is due to the political and

economical problems of the economy.

To identify your true sources, look closely at your habits, attitude and excuses

We explain stress as temporary (I just have a million things going right now)We define stress as integral part of our work or

Coping with stress

Healthy means

Change the situation Avoid the stressor.Alter the stressor.

Change your reaction Adapt to the stressor.Accept the stressor.

Unhealthy means

Change in personal behaviour Smoking or Drugs

addictions. Zoning out TV for hours.

Change in Social behaviour Withdrawing from social

activities.Taking out your stress on

others (lashing out, angry outburst, physical

violence).

Stress Management Strategy # 1: Avoid Unnecessary Stress

Learn how to say ‘NO’- know your limits and stick to them.

Avoid people who stress you out.

Take control of your environment- do what at you feel comfortable.

Pare down your to-do list- distinguish between the ‘must’ and the ‘should.’

Avoid hot-button topics.

Stress Management Strategy # 2: Alter the situation

Express your feeling instead of bottling them out.

Be willing to compromise - its better to understand then to understood.

Be more assertive – don’t take a backseat in your own life.

Reframe problems-view problems with more positive prospective.

Look at big picture-vision should be the objective.

Adjust your standards- perfectionism brings improvement.

Focus on the positive aspects – think what you have wonders.

Don’t try to control the uncontrollable- except that there are few things out of your control.

Look for the upside-what does not kill us makes us stronger.

Share your feelings.Learn to forgive-

forgive and forget-as Islam teaches.

Set aside relaxation time.

Connect with others.Do some thing you

sugar.Avoid alcohol,

cigarettes and drugs.Get enough sleep
