CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS
CONSTRAINTS• Provider capacity – assist with accreditation
processes, develop and upgrade capacity of assessors.
• Funding – lack of funds is a huge constraint - assistance needed from DoL and DEAT ( including donor funding from private institutions and other countries)
• Shortfall to reach set of NSDS 2 Targets is in the region of R100 million over the next 5 year period

CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS
• Explore inter-governmental coordination and collaboration
• Intensify growing income by urging all Public Entities’ to pay administrative levy to THETA
• Align courses currently provided by workplaces to the NQF

• WSP and Mandatory Grant payments to 134 large and 176 medium firms
• 3472 small organisations assisted in skills development

• Planned participation through commissioned skills audit with all provinces
• Working with the premier’s office on NVC about 50 learners being recruited in Limpopo and 30 in W/Cape
• Participate in Provincial Skills Development meetings, Theta supports NSF funding application for the E/Cape and Mpumalanga
• In N/Cape 24 tourist guides being trained in German and French
• In the North west Theta participate through the Premier’s office in Provincial Skills Development meetings, Strategy Formulation and Conferences/SMME Working groups
