DaoismDefinition: a belief that emphasized living in peace with the Dao
Sentence: Daoism stressed living in harmony with the Dao, the guiding force of all reality
LaoziDefinition: the best known Daoist teacher
Sentence: Laozi was the most famous Daoist teacher.
LegalismDefinition: the belief that people have bad characteristics and needed to be guided
Sentence: Legalism, the belief that people were bad by nature and needed to be controlled, contrasted with both Confucianism and Daoism.
