Good evening and let me welcome all of you to the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce’sYorktown “Best of...” Awards & Cocktail Reception. We are marking our 19h year. Thisevent began as an idea and has evolved into an annual celebration not only for a personbut for a company and organization.
The Yorktown Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor the following community leaders:
Irene Amato, recipient of the Business- Person- of- the- Year Award is an outstandingbusiness leader and has been for some time. Surrounding herself with true profession-als who share the same beliefs and passions as she does is one of Irene’s top priorities.Her unsurpassed success is a direct result of her dedication and commitment to herclients and Industry.
Yorktown Autobody, Inc., under the leadership of Perry Gusikoff, is our Business- of-the-Year. Perry attributes his success to values that were instilled in him early in hiscareer such as integrity, honesty, trustworthiness and perseverance. Throughout theyears he has forged many strong friendships, business relationships and communitypartners.
The Yorktown Police Benevolent Association is this year’s Organization- of- the-Year.The men and women of the Yorktown Police PBA strive to keep this community safe.Every member is dedicated to continue the battle against crime and drugs and at thesame time preserve the integrity of the entire Yorktown community.
It is our honor to recognize these people as part of our organization and to let it beknown that their contributions to making our community a better place to live havebeen realized and that their efforts are appreciated.
These are special people that make up this community we call Yorktown. I am especiallyhappy that we can show them our thankfulness and gratitude by honoring themtonight.
I would also like to thank everyone who has supported this journal and all who havemade this evening possible. Your support keeps this organization going. It is each andevery one of you who have brought this Chamber to the level that it is and we can allbe proud of its accomplishments. Our event tonight is one of seven major eventsplanned for 2017. The 6th Annual Car Show, the Scholarship Awards PresentationDinner, the Member Appreciation Night, our 9th Annual Festival and Street Fair, theAnnual Holiday Party and the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop all contribute to the successof this Chamber. It is our hope that you will join us at all of these events.

It is with great pleasure that on behalf of the Town of Yorktown, I have been given theopportunity to extend the Town’s heartfelt congratulations to this year’s honorees.
The Yorktown Chamber of Commerce continues to be a driving force in improvingand enhancing the local business community so vital to the long term prosperity ofour Town. Tonight’s honorees exemplify the best in our Town.
Congratulations to the Business Person of the Year, Irene Amato of A.S.A.P. Mort-gage Corp. Our community remains appreciative of the level of services you bringto your clients, so many for whom you are the first contact with the Yorktown busi-ness community.
Congratulations to the Organization of the Year, Yorktown Police Benevolent Associ-ation. Incorporated in 1966, the mission of the Yorktown Police Benevolent Association(PBA) is to promote the good and welfare of the union and its members and to supportthe goodwill of the community. The Town remains indebted to your members’ com-mitment to the security, peace, goodwill and overall quality of life of the town.
Congratulations to the Business of the Year, Yorktown Auto Body. Not only have youbecome a mainstay business in our Town but you have become a true friend of thecommunity. Your dedication, commitment, and warmth has made Yorktown a specialplace.

BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Yorktown Autobody, Inc.
Perry Gusikoff was born in Rego Park and
grew up in Rockaway where he attended
school. He is a wonderful husband, father &
savvy business man. His career started in
Queens where he landed his first job at
Serge’s Auto Body. Perry’s interest in the
auto body business began to grow and in
1986, he opened his first Auto Body Shop, PG
Auto Body. Four years into the business
there was a fire, so in 1991, Perry rebuilt the
shop to what is now one of his successful
businesses, All-n-All Automotive. After
moving to the Yorktown area and in 2009 he
seized the opportunity to purchase what is
Perry Gusikoff
now Yorktown Auto Body. With hard work
and dedication, the business is thriving and
well known to the community. Perry opened
another shop in Poughkeepsie, QB Collision.
Perry never seems to miss an opportunity
and in 2015, he opened a mechanic shop,
Town Automotive, in Poughkeepsie just
around the corner from QB Collision. His
most recent venture is Fishkill Auto Body
which was bought & completely renovated
this past year and will be opening soon! Perry
attributes his success to values that were in-
stilled in him early in his career such as in-
tegrity, honesty, trustworthiness and
perseverance. Throughout the years, he has
forged many strong friendships, business re-
lationships and community partners. He is a
very generous and good hearted person.
Perry is active in the community and always
willing to help whenever he can. He is a
member of the Yorktown Chamber of Com-
merce & the Dutchess County Chamber of
Commerce. He has also piloted an internship
program with the Lakeland Central School
District which enables students to come into
the shop, learn, work and be mentored all
while learning what could possibly become a
trade for life. He is a proud supporter of
many community organizations such as
ASK, MADD and Relay for Life, just to men-
tion a few. When not working, Perry enjoys
family time, hunting, skiing, vacationing and
working around the house.

Irene began her career in the mortgage in-dustry in 1996. She established A.S.A.P. Mort-gage Corp. and has become a top asset to theindustry. Surrounding herself with true pro-fessionals who share the same beliefs andpassions as she does is one of Irene's top pri-orities. Her unsurpassed success is a directresult of her dedication and commitment toher clients and industry. Irene's clients be-come her friends, and these friends, refertheir friends and family to A.S.A.P. Mortgageand this how Irene and her staff measuresuccess! Irene has been heavily involved withthe NYAMB Board of Directors for the pastsix years as President Elect and President ofthe Lower Hudson Valley Region. Irene is in-volved in the legislative committee and trav-els to Washington D.C. for lobby day on
behalf of the mortgage industry. Irene has al-ways been an advocator for continuing edu-cation within the Industry. Irene is an NMLSapproved instructor teaching courses to loanoriginators. In addition, Irene is a NYS ap-proved Real Estate Instructor.

The Yorktown PBA is a non-profit group thatdonates to the DARE program, School Resource Program andvarious other groups and programs within Yorktown as wellas working side by side with the Alliance for Safe Kids. Weare all determined to continue the battle against violence anddrug use impacting our community and many of the sur-rounding communities as well.
