The sun dial is the representation of the sun and moon’s cyclical motions that may be observed in the zodiac belt
The sky is a beautiful place,
a worthy residence for godly heroes and

The sky was and still is the place where cyclical motions always reoccur in a similar fashion in time.
For this reason, the sky was (but not anymore)
similar to a big clock and calendar.
Days, hours, months, years and seasons were measured on the basis of these cycles.
