•  First to the table, bleeding edge, alpha/beta testers •  Fanboys & Fangirls for a particular brand •  Risk takers •  Collaborative, yet independant •  Cash on hand for anything “new” •  Explorers: they love to be first

Innovators

•  The second fastest category to adopt technology. •  They follow brands closely, but… •  They won't wait in crazy lines on release day, but… •  Risk takers with and opinion •  Very collaborative: show and tell!

Early Adopters

We can’t just focus on the innovators & early adopters, can we?

•  Short free faculty development workshops •  Formation of advisory boards (New LMS, MMS) •  Start a faculty learning community (FLC) •  Engagement: Encouragement & Transparency •  Recognize
