dear brothers, sisters, and friends,
I wish you all the fullness of God’s blessing, peace and joy for the year 2017.
“Glory be to God, our Father” is our motto for 2017 focusing on praising and worshiping him. after some years of dwelling on the work of his Son, Jesus Christ, we also want to remember our heavenly Father, who has blessed us richly.
I do believe that all those who have enjoyed the contents of last year’s calendar with daily bible readings, have also had enriched experiences of faith. this year again, every effort has been taken to provide God’s word on a daily basis which are aligned to the divine Services in the year 2017.
the key to ‘success’ lies in Joshua 1:8. “This Book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, […] that you may observe to do […] all that is written […] will make your way prosperous, and […] have good success”.
although the new apostolic Church began its work in 1970, it was not until 1993 that a Chief apostle first visited India. hence for the year 2017, we have decided to rejuvenate the promptings in your heart and soul with memories of the Chief apostle visits to India. I am very happy that our Chief apostle Jean-luc Schneider will be in raipur, India, on 12 novem-ber 2017, to be a vessel of God’s blessing. I humbly urge you to prepare yourselves and pray fervently for his visit.
the more we are sanctified, the more we will experience the power of God’s holiness. May this sanctification also seep into every aspect of our preparation which includes your generous contributions, procurement of entry tickets, advance travel arrangements and so on.
God searches the intents of our hearts, and together we strive to attain an attitude that is pleasing and acceptable to him, so that he does not delay anymore the sending of his Son to take us home.
looking forward to seeing you during the year!
with loving regards,
david devaraj
