THE HOT SEAT!

• Divide the class into two teams• One student from each team will sit in the front of the class with

their back to the projector screen• On the screen behind them will be a vocabulary word• Each team will have 3 ALTERNATING turns with one word clues

to get their teammate to guess the word. Each student must raise their hand to give a clue.

• A player must raise their hand to give their guess• When someone has guessed the word, a new student comes to

the front of the class and sits in the HOTSEAT• If the word is not guessed, move on to the next word and the

next studentEx, If the word is frantic, the team can say wild emotional etc. Only give one or two word clues.• DO NOT say the word or give the first letter of the word. • Your synonyms and antonyms will come in handy!!• If you call out an answer without raising your hand, your team

will lose a point
