World War I

• WWI was a global conflict that took place mostly in Europe between 1914 - 1918

• It involved the biggest, most powerful industrialized countries in the world

• Believed to be “war to end all wars”

• WWI was a total war

• WWI saw lots of trench warfare and many new technologies

• WWI was caused by a variety of factors and events

• There are a variety of indirect factors

• These factors led to one major event that triggered The War.
