Analyzing the Learner
• My 6th grade class consists of 21 students. There are 12 girls and 9 boys. Two of the students, one girl and one boy, have ADHD. One boy is handicapped and in a wheelchair.
Main Objective

Day by Day • Monday: The students will explain the
different rights guaranteed by the First Amendment by listening to a Podcast and creating a post on the class Facebook page giving an example of the different freedoms and elaborating on what each of those freedoms mean to them.
• Tuesday: The students will be put into groups to evaluate the details of a right guaranteed by the First Amendment that is assigned to their group by creating a Prezi presentation.
• Wednesday: The students will utilize YouTube to find an informative video about the First Amendment, post a link to their video to their Twitter account, and by using the class hashtag, they will comment on two other classmates’ video choices.
