The nucleus controls the cellKind of like the farmer and the dell.It gives the order kind of like the brainAnd it’s protected by the nuclear membrane.

Around the cell you’ll find another skinThe cellular membrane holds the whole cell inIt’s job isn’t simple, there is no doubt It lets some particles go in and out.

Now please don’t loose your enthusiasmListen to the story of the cytoplasmAround the cell this thick fluid does go But in the nucleus it will not flow

Now don’t forget those ribosomesThis is were proteins come fromThese protein factories are so small you’ll agreeYou need an electron microscope to see.

Have you ever herd of donut holesIn the cell there called vacuoles There filled with stuff like H2OAnd they carry food so the cell can grow

Last of all but not the very leastMitochondria mighty cellular beastsThey turn sugar into energy so wellWe call them the powerhouse of the cell!
