THE CANARIAS ISLANDS

• The Canarias Islands are situated in the Atlantic Ocean.

• They are seven islands: El Hierro, La Palma, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and La Gomera.

• Islands have a volcanic origin.

• We can see in the Tenerife island the most famous volcano of Spain: “The Teide”

• Canarias climate is subtropical.

• The people are always with summer clother less in Winter.

• It is unusual that you can see the people with scarfs.

• Canarias have a good biological diversity.

• We can see many flowers, plants …in each of the islands.

• The islands have four National Parks:

National Park´s Teide.

National Park´s Timanfaya.

National Park´s Garajonay.

National Park´s Caldera of Taburiente.

• The canarias´s beaches have a excelent climate.

• They have a blue water and some black sand. It is due to the volcanic origin, other of them have a yellow sand.

• If you go to Canarias in the February´s month you can see the most tipical party: the Carnaval.

• It is a costumes´s party.

• The tourisme in Canarias is very important for the grow up to the islands. Canarias is a spanish destination for excellence. You can relax and you can visit all of islands.
