Trick or treat! When I think of October, I
think of pumpkin spice lattes, stomachaches from too much chocolate, and trick or treating for UNICEF. Trick or treat for UNICEF is one of the easiest ways to fundraise for a good cause--and have a fun time while doing it! Don’t forget to send the money to PNW Key Club so they’ll know how much we’ve raised and pass it
along to UNICEF! I hope your club meetings have been going well, even though it’s been a month, hopefully you all are still bringing in friends who are interested in Key Club! Bring your friends to local volunteering events, and show them what Key Club is all about. Don’t forget to update flyers and posters listing your meeting times! Let’s all make it a goal to keep bringing in members
so we won’t see a decrease when we come out to club meetings!
DIvision 21’s long-term goals are to have all 12 clubs in their area have active status, be efficient in fundraising and awareness for Key Club International’s Major Emphasis projects as well as Pacific Northwest District’s projects, and have complete communication between all clubs regardless of distance.
However, our biggest goals are those stated by Key Club International:To provide service, build character, and develop leadership.

Call to Convention
So, you have the Call to Convention for Diving into Service sitting in your email inbox. You’ve seen there’s three sections, but you have no idea what to do with them. Here is a guide to your 2013 Call to Convention!
Section ARegistration and General InformationFor most members, this is the only packet that they will be looking at. This
section holds everything you need to sign up and go to DCON! Read carefully and be sure you’ve filled out all the forms you need!
Section BOfficer Agreements and Election InformationIf you’re interested in running for a district officer position, this is the section
for you! Included is everything you need to run for a position. Please note thedeadlines are earlier than those for DCON registration! Contact your LT.G. if you are interested in running.
Section CContests and AwardsI highly encourage bumblebees to go over this packet! End your Key Club
year with a bang and bring home some hardware! In this packet, you haveall the rules for the contests held and awards given at DCON. Prepare early!
DUES DUES DUES!Why are dues so important?
Without dues, you can’t:*Go to DCON*Get Key Club scholarships or grants*Be an “official” member in the Key Club International database
Division 21 Guidelines:1.At least 15 members’ dues should be sent in from each club
by the early bird deadline.2.All 12 clubs in Division 21 must send in their dues by the early
bird deadline: November 1st.3.All other member dues must be sent in by the regular
deadline, December 1st.
*If your club does not send in any dues by the early bird deadline, ALL of the clubs in division 21 are affected. Don’t let your dues be the cause of DCON overflow seating!
September DCM Recap
A big thank you to all who came out the the
DCM, and to Monroe Key Club for hosting! We
had a great time eating burgers, going on the
playground merry-go-round, and toasting
marshmallows on the only sticks we could find!
Ask not what your club can do for you, ask what you can do for your club!
“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
