The Blessed Trinity
Chapter 3
The Blessed Trinity
• It is the three Divine persons in one God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
• This is the central mystery, a truth, of our Catholic faith that we know because God has revealed it to us.
The Blessed Trinity
• The grace that we receive at Baptism unites us to the Blessed Trinity and to all the other believers who share in God's life.
• At Baptism, we become one with God and one another.
Gospels reveal:
• It is revealed through the Gospels that: -God the Son became man and lived among us in Jesus Christ.
-God the Father was our creator in everything Jesus said and did.
-God the Holy Spirit empowered Jesus to teach and share God's love.
Evangelization
• the sharing of the Good News of Jesus Christ and the love of God with all people, in every circumstance of life.
• takes place daily.
• believing and practicing the faith we want to share.
The Greatest Commandment
• "You shall love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind...You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
• As Jesus' disciples, we are called to loving relationships with everyone.
