therapeutics. The solution to ending this pandemic is vigilance and vaccines.

● We are directing all Maryland hospitals and county health departments to utilize their remaining doses by opening Phase 1B clinics focused on the elderly

● State Superintendent has submitted vaccination plans for each jurisdiction

● School systems will begin to implement plans in the coming weeks

● Local jurisdictions have the flexibility to move to the next priority groups; elderly and most vulnerable must be prioritized

● Planning for mass vaccination sites is underway

● Assisting in Prince George’s, Charles counties

● Providing additional support at vaccination and testing sites

● 750 volunteers recruited and allocated for county vaccination clinics

● State health order will allow out-of-state practitioners to prepare and administer vaccines in Maryland

Our greatest limiting factor will be supply.

We need more doses.

● Commitment from new administration to get us more doses
