The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective

Teens

Based on book

by Steven Covey

What is a habit?

A habit is something

you do without thinking

about it.

“We first make our habits,

then our habits

make us.”- English Poet

• Habits are things you do repeatedly.

• Most of the time you are hardly aware you do

them.

• They are on autopilot.

• Depending on what they are,

your habits will either make you or break you.

• Luckily, you are stronger than your habits.

• You will become what you repeatedly do.

Habit # 7 – Sharpen the Saw

• Sharpening the saw means regularly renewing

and strengthening the four key dimensions of life

– body, brain, heart, and soul.

• Body – exercise, eat healthy, take time to

relax, sleep well

• Brain – read, write, learn new skills, build, ask

questions, pursue your passion

• Heart – build relationships, laugh, spend time

doing the things that make you happy

• Soul – meditate, keep a journal, practice your

religion, volunteer to help someone else
