Exposure to various different cultures, languages, backgrounds…

The best parts…

Meeting like minded people from all over the world

Forming an international network

Fundraising experience- selling myself to sponsors

The exposure to current high level science, and an international perspective on current issues

Cultural immersion

The independence-> taste of life beyond high school

Worth it?

A lot of catch-up work

A great part of my VCE coursework was self taught

Time-zones, always someone awake to talk to

Before, we were told that we would be likely to lose some 1-2 marks on our final scores as a result of our attendance… but that this experience far outweighed the worth of those few marks.

Thank you for listening
