- Kila Bach I want to be a reading teacher and help children find
a LOVE for reading. I want them to be able to take the skills I
teach them along with them through their adult lives. "If you can

- Kirsten Bah Favorite Activities: Spending time with friends and
family, listening to music, attending concerts, watching sports,

- Michelle Brough Being a student at Texas Womans University
means being more than a number on an enrollment page. The
professors care, the faculty works hard, and I have been able to
build lasting relationships while gaining a valuable education.

- Janet Gonzales Favorite Activities: Working with high school
students and their parents promoting higher education. Enjoy
working with the different campus organizations. Giving tours to
prospective students. Texas Woman's University has played a
significant role in my life. With the teachers, mentors and
advisors who have believed in me, I have been able to receive an
outstanding education and become the leader and individual I am
now. From being involved in different organization, committees and
representing TWU at several conferences has allow me to gain
leadership skills that have help me throughout the years and will

- Hilary Hernandez One of the reasons I chose TWU was because of
the personal experience I would receive as a student. My professors
know my name, and they are familiar with my strengths and
weaknesses. This familiarity with faculty and staff and my peers
has made my years at TWU a memorable and enjoyable time which I
will always fondly look back on. Senior Hometown: Denton, TX Major:
Family Studies Favorite activities: I love to travel, and I have
been to England, France, and Italy. I love to spend time with my
family and friends. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading,
listening to music, and going to concerts.

- Caroline Hilpisch My absolute favorite thing to do here at TWU
is gymnastics! I am on the gymnastics team here and its the most
amazing thing in the world! I also love to go for runs around the
beautiful campus! It is so enjoyable! Being a mentor for younger
gymnasts is also a very strong passion of mine! I love having the
opportunity to observe and teach at elementary schools because I
love the atmosphere. I just cant wait to be a teacher and have a

Rite Hospital for Children- working with medically compromised
pediatric population. Eagle Scout: Working with the Cub Scouts
program. TWU Leadership Institute: Enjoy learning leadership skills
amongst my talented peers. Senior Major: Dental Hygiene Hometown:
Carrollton My favorite TWU memory is studying abroad in London, UK.
The summer of 2009 was an opportunity for me to grow and learn
about culture outside of the USA. This opportunity abroad taught me
valuable lessons about my strengths and weaknesses as a person.
Studying abroad also helped shape my vision and perspective from
local to global and helped me identify my position of influence in
the international movement to better humanity at large.

- Nikki Kincy With Dr. Lisa Silliman's heart of gold and Dr. Kyle
Biggerstaff's love for teaching along with countless other amazing
professors, I have never felt as blessed to have such wonderful
faculty that really care about their student's future. The impact
it had on me is one that I will carry for the rest of my life.
Favorite Activities: I love to run around campus and look at all of
the beautiful landscaping! I enjoy walking around the Downtown
square shopping and socializing with my friends in the evenings! I
love college movie nights at Cinemark followed by old fashioned

Society of Leadership and Success at TWU has made me realize how
much I truly enjoy helping others, in addition to giving me skills

- Camelia Lincoln I want to thank Texas Womans University for
opening a door to me for a higher education and I want to mention
that TWU has provided me with an opportunity to reach my academic
goals through wonderful teachers and financial help. I thank TWU,
the professors and the financial aid department for all of their
support and help. Favorite Activities: Meet with some of the young
girls at TWU and just being there as a friend or mentor and
listening to them. Love going to Starbucks and reading my bible.

- Amy Menge My favorite memory at TWU was going on the study
abroad trip with the Honors scholar program to Italy. I learned so
much about the Italian culture and people. It was truly a learning

student at Texas Womans University is the opportunity for young
women to emerge and grow as leaders, in and outside the classroom.
When I graduate from TWU, I will always remember those faculty,

- Christina Wagoner I owe everything that I have accomplished to
TWU. This university gave me academic, leadership and professional
opportunities that I doubt I would have found elsewhere. TWU molded
me from a girl with smarts to an intelligent, assertive woman who
has the world at her feet. I could not have chosen a better
