Part 1: Customize Resumes forJob Applications Apply to hr@acme.org for a Customer Service position

with excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and be highly self-motivated. Attach your resume as a Word file.

Apply for an Administrative Professional opportunity. You must be highly detailed oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Reply to John Doe, jdoe@temps4all.com with your resume in Plain text, no attachments.

Send an application to be an Equipment Operator at Constructors1 Inc. Candidates must be team players, have excellent communication skills and excel in fast-paced environments. Reply to jobs@constructors1.ca with a PDF resume.

Part 2: Formats and email Emailed job applications are typically

sent with your resume included as an attached Word file (*.doc, not *.docx), or as a PDF file.

Ads may ask for your resume as “Plain text.” Your resume is typed out into a plain text email; there is no file attached.

profiles, and websites can be linked

Privacy issues are unclear and unregulated
