TED is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to share "ideas

worth spreading". Started as a four-day conference in California

TED has grown in its "mission" through multiple initiatives. In the

TED annual conference the major protagonists of "thinking" and

"doing" are invited to present their ideas in presentations very

fast and exciting.

TechnologyEntertainmentDesign

TEDx is created in the spirit of TED mission. The program

is organized to give to local communities, organizations and

individual people the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through

“TED like experiences”, but at the local level.
