Homecoming Explained

•Homecoming is a time to celebrate the school you’re attending.

•Homecoming usually centers around a football game.

• It’s an annual tradition for most American high schools (and some colleges and universities, too!)

• Aside from the game, homecoming activities may include parties, a formal dance with a royal court, bonfires, tailgate parties, talent shows and a parade. Students normally decorate for these events. Students also show school spirit with their clothing.
