Teacher Instructions• Print one set of these slides with 2 photos on a page. Make sure the

photos are in the same category (e.g. Hummer and Smart Car on the same page)

• Split the class into small groups (2-4 students in each group)• Distribute the pages so that each group gets 2 photos with the similar

products (e.g. Hummer and Smart Car)• Give 5-10 min for the students to answer the following questions

(questions are on the first slide of the presentation file so that they can be displayed while the students work)

a) Who do you expect will buy each product? Describe them.– Age, job, lifestyle, education, income, attitudes, values, location,

etc.b) Why do they buy it? What want or need does it fill for them?

• Have each group come up to share with the class their ideas (the images are in the presentation file so the items can be viewed by the class while the students speak)
