Composition of blood. 

White blood cells are known as Leukocytes. 

Platelets are used to help make a blood clot. When you bleed, they act like gauze, to trap the blood cells escaping from the body.

Macrophages and mast cells release chemical signals such as histamine . 

More phagocytes invade the site. Phagocytic cells digest pathogens, and the tissue heals

Capillaries widen. Fluid containing antimicrobial proteins enter the tissue.
