Summer 2014Time Credits community activities
This Time opportunities brochure has been produced bySpice Innovations, Carmarthenshire Housing Service andCommunities First as part of the Community Currencies inAction (CCIA) collaboration project.
CCIA is a transnational partnership working to develop and
deliver community currency demonstrations in several memberstates across the North West of Europe. CCIA will lead the way insharing knowledge and best practice to enable communitiesthroughout Europe to grow stronger in their ability to achievevibrant and prosperous networks that are efficient in deliveringsocial, economic and environmental outcomes.
CCIA will design, develop and implement community currenciesacross NW Europe; providing a rigorously tested package ofsupport structures to facilitate the development of CCs acrossNWE and promote CCs as a credible (policy) vehicle forachieving positive outcomes.
CCIA is part funded through the INTERREG IVB North WestEurope (NWE) Programme, which is a financial instrument of theEuropean Unions Cohesion Policy - Investing in Opportunities.

Welcome to the new Carmarthenshire TimeCredits brochure for summer 2014, you will find here all theactivities at which you can attend for earning and spendingTime Credits in your local community.
Time Credits are a community currency operating across theCarmarthenshire Communities First Cluster, Taf Myrddin andLower Gwendraeth, the project is hosted by CarmarthenshireCommunities First, Carmarthenshire Housing Services and Spice.For every hour you give for the community you receive inexchange one Time Credit. This one can then be spent onactivities, trips and events at a wide range of places.
We have now two different brochures. This one is for the earningand spending opportunities in the community, and the other one

Digital storytelling refers to a short form of digitalmedia production that allows everyday people toshare aspects of their life story. "Media" mayinclude the digital equivalent of film techniques(full-motion video with sound), animation, stills,audio only, or any of the other forms of non-physical media (material that exists only aselectronic files as opposed to actual paintings orphotographs on paper, sounds stored on tape ordisc, movies stored on film) which individuals canuse to tell a story or present an idea. Would youlike to be a film maker for the day? Join us at thisworkshop to learn the basics!
