What is the UBU?UBU Vision

To be a union that reaches out to every student in Bradford by providing support, opportunities, life skills, fun and representation.

To be considered the focal point on campus for encouraging social learning and understanding.

What can the UBU do? Reach out to the entire student

population Visible to students First point of contact for students Centre of student engagement.

What are the Sustainability Ambassadors? Student Volunteers Student Reps from each School Campaigners/Lobbying group Event coordinators Decision makers

What will we do? To promote sustainable behaviours/habits among

your fellow students To influence senior decision makers To represent your School at a monthly Sustainability

Ambassador team meeting To get involved in and coordinate fun campaigns –

blackouts, amnesties, talks, and other events To promote our events on your social media accounts To offer any relevant skills you have – languages,

photography, graphics, web design etc To give a minimum of 2 hours a week of your time

What will we do? – cont. We’ll also be partnered with the Green

Ambassadors. And we’ll be working on the Green
