Sussex Technical High School learn about a career in Law Enforcement

SUSSEX TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL TENTH GRADE

SECOND SEMESTER

• During the Second Semester, 10th Grade Students learn about Courts & Corrections in the U.S.

11TH GRADE 1ST SEMESTERStudents will learn about the

career of a Paralegal Professional. This course prepares students with a desire to pursue a legal

degree or career within the Court System

11TH GRADE 2ND

SEMESTERStudents will begin studying

about a career as a Professional Protection

Officer. Students Test for a Certificate of Completion in

their Senior Year

SENIOR YEAR 1ST SEMESTER

• Seniors at Sussex Tech will learn about a career as an Emergency Telecommunication Professional (ETC).

• Students will test for a Certification through IAED

DELAWARE SECURITY OFFICER LICENSING

Senior Year 2nd SemesterSussex Tech Seniors will study to obtain a Delaware License

to work as a Private Security OfficerLicensure is offered through the Delaware Professional Standards and Licensing Board
