    Ilovetogetmyhandsonnewdevicesandapplicationsthatcanbeusedintheworkplace.Withsomuchaccesstotechnologytodaythatallowsworkerstobeinconstantcontactwithcolleagues,youwouldthinkthatcollaborationwouldbeeasierthanever.But,recently,Ireadanarticlearguingthatthereisincreasingdemandformorefacetofacecommunicationinorganizations.Ofcourse,facetimewithcolleaguesisnotalwayspossibleforbusinessesformultiplereasons,includingtimeconstraintsandthehighcostoftravel.

    Accordingtoasurveyofover1,000U.S.employees,conductedbyKeltonGlobal,peoplewereaskedhowtheyprefertocollaborateandsurprisingly72%ofrespondentsansweredinperson,23%answeredonlineand5%answeredviaphoneorvideoconference.Inaddition,nearlytwoinfiveemployedAmericansfeelthereisnotenoughcollaborationintheirworkplace.Theredefinitelyseemstobeagaphere.Sowhilereadingthesearticles,Isaidtomyselfwaitaminute,Iknowthatwecanhelpfacilitatebettercollaborationintheworkplace,asleastforsupplychainprofessionals!
