A nationally recognized and award-winning college newspaper, The Signal focuses on providing quality, timely and accurate reporting on the city of Atlanta and the Georgia State community, which boasts the second largest number of in-state alumni, thousands of faculty and administrators and a student body of
more than *32,000 graduate and undergraduate students. And it’s still growing!Over the past five years, Georgia State has set record enrollment figures
with each class more academically rigorous and diverse than the one before it, placing Georgia State in line to become the largest public university in the state, which translates into continued expansion and economic impact for the Atlanta community.
The Signal will publish 10,000 copies of a 60-page spread of the summer magazine issue this year. This magazine is geared towards Georgia State’s newcomers, providing them a guide to some of Atlanta’s greatest neighborhood hangout spots, transportation systems and housing complexes. Incoming freshmen will receive a copy in their orientation bags at Georgia State’s INCEPT program. The expected amount of enrollment for freshmen this year is anywhere from 3,000 - 4,000.

Graphic Art
• Size of art must be equal to ad size requested. • Indicate permission to float if ad is smaller than the size requested. • Acceptable formats are PDF and TIFF only!• All images must be in CMYK, not RGB color mode• Images are at least 300 dpi and are not compressed
Restrictions
• Advertising for gambling, adoption, or soliciting egg donors can-not be accepted per Georgia law.
• Request for a particular location in the magazine will be considered but not guaranteed.
• Complaints regarding errors will be considered if contacted within 14 days of publication date. Our liability is limited to the cost of the ad.
• Proof of printing (one full issue) will be sent. Invoice will be sent to the e-mail address associated with the contact information on the contract.
Payment
• Pay via check or money order. Payment must be received in advance unless advertiser is a contracted agency, campus organization or long-term customer. Checks should be written out to Georgia State University.
