Student Information Requests
Information Services and Applications (ISA)
Tammie Bartkowiak – Technical AssistantPosted by June 7, 2017
One of the many summer responsibilities for CFISD’s receptionists (Kia Andrus and Neilisha Webb) are to issue a Verification of Enrollment and Attendance (VOE) Form to students. This form allows
students to go to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and apply for a learner’s license and/or license to operate a motor vehicle. Kia and Neilisha are always a joy to work with and
equally excited to receive the report from Tammie Bartkowiak.

This week, I had the privilege of attending the Rigor, Relevance and Relationships (RRR) Conference hosted by CFISD. This the premier
educational leadership conference in Texas. Among dozens of wonderful opportunities, I had the honor of meeting Steve Rizzo,
leadership expert and comedian. He encouraged us to laugh as we go through life.
Your attitude forms your reality.
What is your attitude?
Leadership Conference
“Motivate THIS!”
Eric May found this session interesting because the speaker discussed how to start each day with an unstoppable attitude to succeed:
• Make Sure you are feeling good during the process of whatever you are trying to achieve.
• No negative self-talk
• Studies show that those who laugh through the day are more creative, productive, resilient and can find solutions to complex problems.
This is what I would like to bring to my team !

Rigor, Relevance &
Relationships (RRR)
This week, I had the honor of
attending the RRR Conference
hosted here in CFISD. I was able
to attend many wonderful
sessions addressing leadership. It
was great to learn from several
successful leaders. Though their
techniques varied, their message
was the same, it is that
employees matter. Simple to say,
yet difficult to fully implement.

Summer is the time for reorganization,
planning and next steps and that process is
well underway. Meetings are occurring to
determine how much student data is to be
kept in the system on students that have left
Cy-Fair over 6 years ago. The rollover
process is being planned and will be executed
to completion the 1st week of July.

This week I have reflected about
how to keep my team motivated.
At the RRR conference I listened
to many great motivators
messages and I liked Steve Rizzo.
He believes that those who laugh
through the day are more creative,
productive, resilient and can find
solutions to complex problems. Its
difficult to stay motivated 100% of
the time but if we can apply
Steve's ideas we can have a good
time trying.
