issues) correcting glitches, re-applying for services, etc., etc. We get a multitude of calls each day. Please be patient if you call and it seems a while for a return
call. We try to fit our call-backs in between scheduled appointments or other calls. Also, it helps immensely if you can give either Bob or Jon a hint as to what the message is in regards to. If you do email... please feel free to email either me (Carol), Pam, - Kathy, Erica, or Lynda. Please put a note in the 'Subject' line such as 'Client Request'.

Note from Darlene Cox, Potluck Planner
WE have started
our year of 2017 off
on a good note. Our
traditional New
Years Day potluck (actually held on New
Years Eve!) was attended by 19 persons.
Everyone had an enjoyable time visiting,
eating and playing Bingo. Bob Hillman asked
the blessing, (thank you Bob!). There was a
delicious variety of food. What good cooks
and delicious food, that everyone brought.
Everyone has a great time at our potlucks.
We plan to have another potluck on Saturday,
February 18th at noon. Dinnerware (plates,
plastic-ware, and cups) will be provided.
Please bring a side dish: meat, desserts,
salads, or whatever you wish. Following
dinner we will play Bingo or cards. Come
enjoy the day!! Take Care and God Bless!

FEBRUARY TRIAD It seems like a l0000ng time
since our last TRIAD meeting.
Barring a weather closing, we are looking forward
to our next get-together on Thursday, February
at 1 PM.
Our guest speaker will be Laura Armstrong from
the City of Monmouth Water Billing Department.
She will go over the monthly water bills..how to
/I r
read them, and how they are calculated. She will
answer any questions you may have concerning
her department. We look forward to learning what
she has to share.
Our Warren County Triad provides a wealth of
information to area seniors and senior services
providers and law enforcement personnel. Each
month, there is a time for sharing concerns such
as scams, alerts, and the latest information in
which others may be interested. If you have
mailings, phone calls, emails, or other items that
you are concerned may not be legit...bring it to
the Triad meeting! Wondering about various
charities??? We can look their ratings up for you.
Money can be tight...we certainly want donations
to benefit the most deserving of charities.
Triad meets on the second Thursday of each
month at 1 PM. All interested persons/ groups are
welcome to attend. There are no fees Or
registration to join us. Refreshments are served.
For more information, call Caro at Strom (734
4560).
See you on the 9th !!

Strom Center's....
HENDERSON COUNTY SENIOR CENTER NEWS .... Strom Center's Henderson County Seniors programs is for ALL Seniors and adult disabled persons in Henderson County. We are delighted with the comments from those we have assisted. (Survey forms can be found in front of our Gladstone office located at the Henderson County Health Department) Our two primary Henderson County workers, Kathy Ferrenburg, and Erica Little will always do their best to assist you in any way possible. Many seniors and disabled persons are faced with a multitude of challenges... we will explore every avenue possible to ensure those challenges are met with satisfaction.
Sometimes it is easier for Henderson County residents to make their appointments in Monmouth (at 211 South A Street, Monmouth) rather than Gladstone (209 West Elm Street, Gladstone) . If that is your preference, please be sure to make either Jon Reynolds or Bob Anderson, (both who cover appointment scheduling) aware of that choice.
More and more persons are communicating through the internet. If you would like to reach either of the above workers, or me (Director Carol McCrery), our email addresses are:
Carol McCrery: stromseniors@gmail.com
tailer Kathy Ferrenburg: Ferrenburgk@yahoo.com
Erica Little: Erica.StromCenter@gmail.com
