Throw your main characters into a conflict

The conflict is the hook of the story

Without the conflict, you don’t have a story!

4 Your Story Must Have

Cure

The conflict needs to be solved in some way

What’s the cure that solves the conflict?

The cure should help audience members overcome the conflicts they may be facing in their own lives

4 Your Characters Must

Change as a Result of the Conflict

What personality or attitude shifts do your characters undergo as a result of having overcome the conflict?

How do they see the world differently as a result of having been through the conflict?

5 Your Story Must Have a

Carryout Message

The essence of public speaking is to “tell a story and make a point”
