Introduction to Storyboards

Toy Story Storyboard

Learning Objective:Understand the importance of the storyboard and how it can be used effectively.

Learning Outcome:Apply knowledge gained during the project so far to create a storyboard for your film.

Activity:Discuss with a partner the different camera angles, Mise en Scene elements and genre styles you remember. Make a list of those you think you will use.

Activity:Create a storyboard for your film. You may wish to give different sections to different members of your group. Add comments about the narrative, camera angles, sounds etc.
