Digital Immigrants • A man or woman who were not born during the age of technology

that we have today.

Example: My mother is a Digital Immigrant. She was born when there only used to be twelve channels on the television and there was no such thing as a Computer.

Digital Natives• A person who was born in during the period of the

Technology we have today.

Example: My younger cousin who is Eleven years old knows how to use and IPhone better than I do; being the Digital Native that she is.

Digital Identity• The user name or what you are known as an Online User and

the representation of yourself upon others who are online.

Example: My Digital Identity as a User on IMVU is known as 1L0ki.

Wikis• A website or websites that allows the user to add, edit, or even

delete content to share particular information to other people who use the internet.

Example: Sometimes I have to use Wikis to help me find informationAbout what date certain movies were first shown in movie theatres.

Netiquette• The "correct" way of communication and the

actions you make on the Internet.

Example: I have to be very Netiquette towards my peers whiles taking my online classes.
