Statement of interest in the institute:

Institute of transformative biomolecules(ITbM), Nagoya University is committed to develop

transformative biomolecules which will bring change to biological science and technology. My

h! thesis is about e"ploring novel biomolecules from the marine microorganisms and testing of 

them for pharmaceutical applications. Though my thesis is based on microbiology, the e"tractionof biomolecules and identifying them using chemical characteri#ation fascinated me and

channeled my interest towards them. $s ITbM is totally committed to research on biomolecules,

I am delighted to see the advertisement of call for post doctoral research positions.

I %now that my basic is microbiology but not animal or plant biology. &ut I have done my

masters in &iotechnology which honed my s%ills in molecular biology and cell biology. In

addition, my h! thesis on novel biomolecules would be helpful for the study in ITbM. I am

also very much loo%ing forward on implementing my techni'ues on a different field (li%e animal

or plant biology) which lead to an impressive as well as fruitful research.

&eyond these, it would be prestigious to wor% in ITbM, a part of orld remier International

esearch *enter Initiative (I), +apan. esearch in such an esteemed environment would whet

my concern towards learning novel techni'ues and enforcing them on the study. I hope my

research interest would cope up with your e"pectation and I am sure I would enoy complete

involvement, painsta%ing attention to detail and the e"citing possibility of being a part of a

 pioneering research group
