Role of national organization: National CASA offers leadership and supports continued growth of the CASA network.

networking• Sends out information to programs• Increases awareness statewide of CASA & needs of

children• Assists with resource development

Local CASA ProgramsRole of local CASA programs:•Recruit volunteers and conduct a background check

•Train volunteers to prepare them for your court system

•Support volunteers as they work on their case

•Provide 12 hours of in-service continuing education annually
