Noise Mitigation • Solid plywood construction wall • Stationary equipment (compressors,

generators) enclosed as needed • Truck operations

– No beeping alarms – Engine idle limit of 5 minutes – No compression brakes – Muck haul bins lined with noise dampening material – No nighttime hauling of “muck” (also known as

“spoils”) unless approved by ST • Monitoring • Contractor incentive to reduce noise
