“Social Issues & the Catholic Catechism”
The Patricians is a Catholic discussion group that presents different religious topics each month. You can join the discussion or just listen. This month Paul Hutchinson & Jerry Moser from the Men’s Fellowship Ministry will be leading the discussion group.
The Catechism is “ an organized presentation of the essential teachings of the Catholic Church in regards to both faith and morals in the light of the Second Vatican Council and the whole of the church’s tradition”. How important is our Catechism? No one who has any knowledge of our age should have any doubt about the prevailing crisis in Christianity.
The meeting will begin with a 20 minute video and then a discussion on how to use and apply the information in the catechism with real life examples to consider.
Amen! This sounds like one we should not miss! Please bring a copy of the Catholic Catechism.
We will meet on Friday, October 21st from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Damien Center, Room A. Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend and meet some new people. Refreshments will be served.
