SKCET in collaboration with INFOSYS as a Campus Connect partner has commenced the "Train the Trainer program on INFYTQ”, a Foundation Program for 3 days from 24th June 2019 to 26th June 2019 at SKCET.
FDP was inaugurated by our beloved Principal Madam along with Dean Sir and HoDs. Principal Madam welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of InfyTQ app and asked the faculty to explore knowledge on python based learning opportunity in Problem solving effectively.
Mr.Roy Arnold, Infosys Campus Connect team will lead the program for 3 days. 55 faculty from 23 Infosys Campus Connect partner colleges (2 Faculty from each
college) in Tamilnadu are attending this program. InfyTQ trained faculty can roll out training for students to get InfyTQ certification
which gives direct Infosys offer with higher package.

Lecture cum Workshop on “De-stress for Faculty
Dr.Albert Raj, Dean and Heads of various departments of SKCET attended an Interactive workshop on “Superior Work Performance”, by Dr.Ben Bernstein, Professional Psychologist and International Speaker, United States of America which was concoursed by our Respected CEO, Dr.K.Sundaraman Sir. The key outcomes of the workshop:
Focus on how stress affects the work performance, tools for staying calm, confident and focused in working environment and three phase system for improving work performance.
Evidence based model for making work more efficient which includes Yerkes-Dodson curve, self-diagnostic tool to assess stress levels and stressful individual and interpersonal scenarios.
He emphasized stress as the reaction to challenging situations by wanting things to be different rather than accepting them as they are. He shared his de-stress model for staying present and empowered to take on any challenge.

Our Principal Madam, Dr.J.Janet convened a meeting with the faculty
members trained by TCS on the effective functioning of the IInd year B.E
Computer Science and Engineering programme. She discussed on the special
schedule for the second year TCS class and instructed them to deliver
outcome based sessions to face the challenges posed by TCS. She enlisted
several inputs to the engineering faculty to make the lab sessions more
productive and strategic ideas to English faculty to increase students the skill
of interaction with the industry people.

Research Grants to a tune of Rs.126.56 Lakhs of Five faculty proposals
under DST-WOS B scheme are shortlisted for Subject Expert
presentation at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in July 2019
Five women faculty shortlisted for the presentation from a single private
engineering institution holds a special mention.
This fruition is a result of many rounds of research modeling , mock
presentations and personalized training in content writing by Principal
Madam along with the HODs team earlier last year when the call for
proposals in May 2018 was received with incredible interest.

Dr. R. Soundararajan, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, delivered a guest talk on „Awareness on SAE Activities’ at Sri Krishna College of Technology on 22nd June‟19. The talk was to create awareness and motivate the second year students of Department of Mechanical Engineering to participate in various events organized by SAE club. He also briefed them on the career benefits of active participation.

Department of CSE conducted Mock Interview session for Final Year Students. The Panel Members

As a part of placement training, first phase of Mock Interview was organized for final year
students of IT by the faculty fraternity of S&H department. Students were assessed on the
basis of their communication skills and were given constructive suggestions.
