This season new techniques are formed in addition to her celebrated woven unique leather designs. Martina further develops her eco-friendly collaboration with ECCO Leather, tannery in the Netherlands, with experiments brought to life and let loose in ECCO Leathers’ Open Circle Laboratory. Resulting in eye-catching and colourful patterns inspired by the highly rich extraordinary sculptures by artist David Altmejd.
Martina’s new designs are embossed with canvas like textures, dyed with vibrant pulled paint strokes and airbrushed in vivid hues contrasting with the original hide. The collection presents new colours, effects and prints: crafted leather cut into stripes, bonded to bright silks and tailored with neon elastic tape breaking out to create exclusive innovative looks.
