The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Director’s NotesThis is my third time directing this show, and every time I do,
it hits me a little bit differently. This year, the line that really
sticks out to me is, “Everyone is important. Mary, Jesus, and
the short kids.” Because that’s sort of what this show is all
about. It’s about inclusion and acceptance, and about how the
people who don’t seem important or valuable can make such
a difference if they are just given a chance. So I hope you take
a moment this Christmas season to look around at the people
in your life - the short kids, the bad kids, the people who don’t
look like you, or think like you, or behave like you - and give
them a chance. They may be just what you need.
