Praise and worship are powerful spiritual weapons against the powers of darkness.Christian dance ministries are prime targets for spiritual attack, which may come in many forms such as illness, discord, mechanical failures and opposition.

Intercessory prayer is needed for a dance group!

BE SAVED!Personally accepted Jesus Christ as you Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9-10) HEART OF WORSHIP GOD!All dancers should also be worshipers. It is important to check and look within your heart to see what your true motives for dancing. Remember, they that worship Him must do it in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23)PERSONAL TIME WITH THE LORD! You will find that God will reveal so much to you and will even give you choreography for songs that have been placed upon your heart.

Basic Requirements for Dance Ministers1. Submission to God, and dance leader2. Work as a team and be unified3. Be open to receive prayer from your chaplain, evangelist and/or spiritual advisor.4. Be respectful and loving to all team members and always keep the lines of communication open in your ministry5. Dance leaders should be open and accepting of anyone who feels led to join the dance ministry.6. Be prompt. Rehearsals should begin and end on time7. Be sure to keep rehearsal days and times consistent. 8. Always warm-up and stretch before any rehearsal or ministry engagement.
